Our expert judging panel will represent a whole host of specialties across the D&I industry. 
Judges are invited to score the entries following our robust criteria, via an online judging system and
then come together for a judging day to decide on our shortlist and winners.

Mary Ball

Founder, BallPoint Consultancy Ltd

  • Mary Ball is a commercial and growth leader with over 15 years’ experience helping businesses scale through clearer strategy, stronger sales functions, and operational discipline. She is the Founder of BallPoint Consultancy, where she works with SME leaders to diagnose growth blockers and build practical, revenue-focused solutions.

    Mary operates at the intersection of technology, AI, and business transformation, supporting organisations with go-to-market strategy and commercial optimisation. Her approach is grounded in real-world execution, combining data-driven insight with hands-on problem solving.

    She is passionate about supporting inclusive innovation and enabling more women to lead in technology and business. As a Women in Tech judge, she brings a sharp commercial perspective, balanced judgement, and a focus on recognising ideas that are both impactful and scalable.

Janthana Kaenprakhamroy

CEO, Tapoly

  • Janthana Kaenprakhamroy is the CEO & Founder of Tapoly, an award-winning insurtech platform providing digital insurance solutions for SMEs, freelancers, and gig economy workers. With over 15 years of experience across insurance, finance, and AI-led transformation, she has built and scaled innovative underwriting and distribution solutions. She is a two-time Innovate UK AI grant recipient and has been recognised as UK FinTech Innovator of the Year 2023 and one of EliteX’s Top 5 Impactful InsurTech Leaders 2025. Before founding Tapoly, Janthana held senior roles at UBS, Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan, and BNP Paribas. She is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), a BIBA board member, and an experienced judge across fintech, insurance, and leadership awards.

Amanda Whicher

UK&I Director Technology, Hays

  • Amanda Whicher is the UK&I Technology Director at Hays. With over 18 years of experience in the tech recruitment sector, Amanda works with a organisations to access diverse talent and has a wealth of insights when it comes impacting change. Amanda created the Women in Tech Connect Network which has built communities across 15 locations in the UK to help Women meet their ambitions and thrive in the ever-changing world of tech.

Anthony Sherick

Director, The PHA Group

  • Anthony has been in the tech industry for nearly 20 years and has an extensive background in supporting companies with employer branding and recruitment attraction as ex MD of Technojobs and ContractorUK.

    Anthony founded the popular site, womenintech.co.uk which was started up to support more women finding and growing their careers in tech. Anthony has played an active role supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives in the industry, has helped to set up a popular women in tech mentoring scheme and advised many companies on their Women in Technology journey.

    Anthony now supports and advises clients within the Recruitment, Corporate, HR Tech and D&I sector at The PHA Group.

Callie Cooper

Director, Women in Tech

  • Callie Cromer is the Director of Women in Tech UK, where she leads initiatives focused on supporting, connecting, and empowering women across the technology industry. With over 15 years of experience in recruitment advertising and talent partnerships, Callie has developed deep insight into the evolving tech landscape and the importance of building diverse, inclusive teams. In her role, Callie works closely with companies, professionals, and community leaders to create opportunities for women to grow their careers in technology. She is passionate about fostering collaboration, championing representation, and helping organisations create more inclusive workplaces.

Emily Irwin

Director, Women in Tech

  • Emily is a Director at Women in Tech with over eight years of experience in the tech recruitment and advertising industry. She is passionate about advancing gender diversity in technology and supporting initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for women at every stage of their careers. Womenintech.co.uk is a go-to platform dedicated to empowering women in STEM. The organisation works to address the gender gap by partnering with employers to create more inclusive workplaces and provide opportunities for women to thrive, from entry-level roles through to leadership positions. In her role, Emily works closely with employers to help build more inclusive organisations and connect them with talented women. Her work focuses on amplifying employer brands that are committed to diversity and equity, showcasing them as leading destinations for women looking to build and advance their careers in IT and technology. As a judge for the Women in Tech Employer Awards, Emily is proud to support and celebrate the individuals and organisations driving progress, inclusion, and innovation across the industry.

Nabila Salem

CEO, Big Impact Ltd

  • Nabila is the Founder and CEO of Big Impact Ltd and is an Advisory Board Member at Migrant Leaders UK. Previously, she was on the Board of Tenth Revolution Group (TRG), the parent company of various talent delivery and talent creation brands. She was also Group President of Revolent, responsible for leading on the creation of tech talent that can thrive in niche technology markets. Nabila was the first and youngest female VP at the FTSE 250 company she used to work for and has accrued 20 years of leadership experience in professional services and talent solutions based in the UK and USA. Nabila plays an active role in encouraging, supporting, and promoting inclusion in the workplace and was recognized in Management Today’s 35 Women Under 35 List 2019, as well as being selected as Globant's Most Inspiring Executive UK in 2021.

Benjamin Ventham

Digital HR Director, AstraZeneca

  • Ben is a Digital HR leader specialising in Reward Technology, HR transformation, and data-driven workforce strategy. As Digital HR Director for Reward Technologies at AstraZeneca, he leads the global digital strategy and roadmap for reward systems. Working closely with the Reward Centre of Excellence, HRIT, and Global Business Services, he delivers integrated technology solutions that simplify complex processes and enable more scalable, insight-driven reward operations. His work focuses on automation, AI, and data integration, modernising HR platforms and improving the way organisations manage compensation, incentives, and workforce insights. Ben leads cross-functional transformation initiatives, overseeing technology strategy, vendor solutions, delivery prioritisation, and investment planning. Prior to moving into HR technology leadership, Ben led technology talent acquisition at both AstraZeneca and Amazon Web Services, where he built high-performing and diverse engineering teams. He also founded the AstraZeneca Women in Tech Series, an initiative designed to spotlight women in technology and drive improvements in diverse hiring. In recognition of his work advancing inclusion in technology, Ben was awarded Best Recruiter at the Women in Tech Employer Awards (2022). Ben is passionate about combining practical technology transformation with building more inclusive and equitable workplaces.

Kris Phelps

Experienced Diversity & Inclusion Lead

Kris has extensive business background and has developed strategies and inclusion initiatives for FSTE 100 / 250 and public sector clients.

He is highly experienced in cross-cultural collaboration and training and facilitation specialising in LGBTQ+ inclusion and inclusive leadership.

Kris also has a wealth of experience in working with senior leaders, HR professionals and employee resource groups. His consultative approach and adaptability has allowed him to work with and provide bespoke global learning on inclusion and diversity to a wide range of organisations.
