Dan is a global talent acquisition strategist, AI governance advocate, and founder of Verityn Index, an algorithmic accountability venture helping organisations understand and eliminate bias embedded in their hiring technology.
With over two decades of senior TA leadership across 27 countries, including Global Inclusion & Diversity TA Lead at Avanade (Microsoft/Accenture), Dan brings rare cross-sector depth to questions of fairness, technology, and workforce equity, with a particular focus on the structural barriers that continue to shape who gets hired, who gets seen, and who gets left behind in the tech sector.
He is currently completing an MA in AI, Ethics and Society at Birkbeck, University of London. Dan's work sits at the intersection of people, power, and emerging technology, challenging the assumption that automated hiring systems are neutral by design. He is a vocal critic of compliance theatre in AI auditing and a committed champion of systemic accountability over surface-level inclusion because real progress for women in tech demands more than good intentions encoded in broken systems.
